Electrical Inspection & Testing of installations including hazardous areas, fire
alarm, emergency lighting systems and portable appliance testing (PAT)
House Buyers: For your peace of mind,
or to satisfy the requirements of your mortgage company you may require official
documentation (Periodic Inspection Report), which details the condition of the
electrical installation for the property you are intending to purchase.
Landlords: By law you are required to
ensure the electrical installation to the rented property is kept to a
satisfactory standard. Local Authorities recognise a satisfactorily marked
Periodic Inspection Report as the required documentation.
 Licensees: To enable you to obtain a
Public Entertainments Licence (PEL), you have to prove the safety of the
electrical installation concerned. Local Authorities again recognise a
satisfactorily marked Periodic Inspection Report.
Business Owners: You have a duty of care to
ensure the safety of your employees from your electrical installation and have
some defence from an employee claiming to have received an electrical shock in
the work place. Holding a Periodic Inspection Report marked satisfactory can
give you peace of mind and satisfy some requirements of the Health & Safety at
Work Act.
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT): To
meet the Electricity At Work Regulations or just to provide a duty of care to
employees and members of the public, Portable Appliance Testing is a way of
proving the electrical safety of these appliances.
Hazardous Areas: A risk assessment
will be conducted leading to the Inspection and Testing of hazardous areas such
as petrol stations, paint stores and other similar areas will be carried out by
one of our qualified engineers and any required documentation provided
Electrical Metering: We provide all
types of new and quality tested single and three phase electricity supply meters
for use within industrial, commercial and domestic premises. Pre-payment sub
slot meters with coin or card operation up to 80amp loading for use within
residential lettings, holiday homes etc. Coin or card operated timer units for
snooker / squash court lighting or heating requirements.
